Natural Inquirer is an integrated science education journal for students aged 11–15. In the United States of America, where the journal was first published, Natural Inquirer presents research from scientists working for the Forest Service, an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). This edition of Natural Inquirer presents the results of a worldwide effort to understand the world’s forests, organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The Global Forest Resources Assessment 2015 (FRA 2015), which contains information from 234 countries and territories around the world, was the source of information in this Natural Inquirer. This is the third edition of the World’s Forests Natural Inquirer.
