dc.descriptionSince the establishment of the FAO Representation in the Republic of the Gambia in 1978, FAO has provided vital support to the sustainable development of the agriculture and natural resource sectors in the country. Over the years, FAO has implemented 130 projects. The Organization is currently supporting the country in policy formulation while implementing programmes and projects for improved food security and nutrition and resilience in agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors.
