Descripción
The 2020–2030 Strategic Framework of the FAO Advisory Committee on Sustainable Forest-based Industries (ACSFI) is intended to guide the ACSFI’s work over the next 10 years. It is based on the ACSFI Strategic Review, which was conducted to assess the potential of the Committee in the context of global issues affecting the forest sector. The aim of this Framework is to improve the overall impact of the Committee, adding value to its work by means of specific actions. Taken together, these actions are intended to strengthen its influence through a more representative membership, increasing stakeholder engagement, ensuring a focused approach to support the work of FAO, and introducing new initiatives by catalysing strategic partnership opportunities.
