dc.descriptionResults indicate that both long- and vertical liners experience random shocks as well as inefficiency. The longliners vessel efficiency is increasing over time and crew size and effort are positively correlated with efficiency. The vertical liners efficiencies are also positively associated with crew size as the vessels become specialized in grouper targeting.
