dc.descriptionThe 2025 World Food Forum (WFF) marked a pivotal moment in the global effort to accelerate agrifood systems transformation, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Held from 10 to 17 October at FAO headquarters in Rome and online, the WFF convened heads of state, ministers, youth leaders, Indigenous Peoples, scientists, investors, private-sector innovators and civil society partners under the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future”.Building on three interconnected pillars – Global Youth Action, Science and Innovation, and Hand-in-Hand Investment – the 2025 WFF flagship event mobilized groundbreaking and global collaboration across sectors and generations, accelerating the translation of FAO’s four betters (better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life) into concrete solutions and action on the ground.
