dc.descriptionThis workshop is the second since FAO and ICARDA organized the first meeting held in May 1997 in Rabat, Morocco for the creation of the Oat Vecht Network in the Maghreb region. Strenghtening of regional cooperation being a priority for FAO and ICARDA, consultations have been made with the Maghrebian countries on how to share research findings and experience, rationalize resources and cooperate to let researchers very well known in the region. It was agreed on the creation of the Oat Vecht Networ k in the Maghreb (REMAV). The present publication reports the research results presented at the second workshop of the Oat Vecht Network in the Maghreb, held during 13-16 March, 2001, Tunis, Tunisia, and was jointly organized by FAO, ICARDA and the National institute for agricultural research (INRAT) of Tunisia.
