The aim of the paper is to present the trends of prices of farm products and those of food retail prices in Poland. An increase of prices of farm products as a raw material was smaller than that of the prices of finished food products in years 1997-2008. / Synopsis. W artykule przedstawiono zmiany cen surowców rolniczych i cen artykułów spożywczych z nich wytwarzanych w Polsce w latach 1996-2008 na rynkach zbóż, wieprzowiny, wołowiny i mleka. Ceny detaliczne rosły szybciej niż ceny surowców rolniczych.
