dc.descriptionThis technical note provides an overview of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and related progress in areas relevant to agriculture and food security under the Convention. The note covers the Sharm el-Sheikh Joint Work on Implementation of Climate Action on Agriculture and Food Security (SJWA), the Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture (KJWA) and previous workshops on issues relating to agriculture under the UNFCCC. It also highlights key milestones in other relevant workstreams, such as the global goal on adaptation (GGA), the Global Stocktake (GST), loss and damage (L&D), the UAE Just Transition Work Programme (JTWP), the Nairobi Work Programme (NWP), as well as climate finance and technology-related processes, among others.
