Descripción
The theme for the forum was “Fisheries management - concept, options and practice”. It was opened by the Honourable Minister of Animal and Fishery Resources of Côte d’Ivoire, H.E. Mr Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani. In his opening speech, the Minister retraced the steps of the EAF-Nansen Project highlighting the importance of the assistance that the project has provided to African countries over the years given the relevance of this sector in the economy and its contribution to poverty alleviation and food security.
