dc.descriptionThe report consists of the findings of the impact of the training and the level of application of participatory tools on natural resources management, conflict resolution by communities and relevant institutions. The assessment found that the training made relevant impact, in relation to enforcement and implementation of natural resources policies (including formulation of by-laws), legal frameworks and institutions at the District and community levels. The assessment found that the participator y tools and approaches have been applied or adopted to address natural resources management and land use conflicts with a view to promoting SLM within Kagera River Basin.
