This document is the final version of the report of the Sixth Session of the Western Central Atlantic Fishery Commission (WECAFC) held in Mexico, D.F., Mexicg,from 27 to 31 July 1987. Major topics discussed during the Session were: (a) stock delineation in the WECAFC area; (b) institutional support and strategies for the development of small-scale fisheries in the region; (e) management and development of fisheries in the Lesser Antilles region and (d) review of the objectives and terms of reference of the Commission and its Working Parties. A list of the main recommendations of the Session is included as Appendix F.
