This paper was first issued in 1956 and then reprinted in 1966 under the title Processing of cassava and cassava products in rural industries. In 1971 it was expanded for publication as FAO Agricultural Services Bulletin No. 8, entitled Processing of cassava. Because of the great demand for information from governments and from private concerns and persons, the text has been updated to cover subsequent advances in cassava production and processing.
