The present report was prepared in the course of a mission which took place from 28 April to 12 May 1995. In the course of this mission the author was asked to provide advice to senior Government officials on the following matters: identification of the baselines from which to calculate the various maritime zones; preparation of a possible grid system for use within the Exclusive Economic Zone of Angola; discussion of various practical problems being experienced by fisheries observers and inspec tors in Angola and to hold question and answer seminars with a representative selection of them. This report summarizes the main findings and recommendations of the mission.
