| dc.description | The newsletter seeks to highlight the work done by FAO in Namibia by shining a spotlight on FAO’s contribution to the development of Namibia in its mandate areas; as well as to highlight the human interest aspects – at farmer level and showcase, as appropriate, the human face of FAO-Namibia during the year 2018. In this issue, key highlights include a summary of the just completed 2019-2023 Country Programme Framework (CPF); World Food Day observance; FAO’s endowment of a trophy for the Best Student in the Agriculture Faculty of the University of Namibia; ongoing FAO engagement with events on the national agriculture calendar; as well as some highlights from FAO-Namibia’s Twitter handle. A photo-journal showcases FAO-Namibia in action throughout the course of 2018. | |
