Descripción
CopeMed II became operational on 2008 and is built on the results obtained in the first phase (1996 – 2005). The project promotes the creation of an environment that favours national capacity development, including through the consultation and the involvement of all stakeholders directly concerned with the fishery sector, and stronger regional cooperation in fisheries assessment and management. The promotion and the establishment of country participative working groups facilitates the ownership of the activities.
