This brochure provides a summary of a business case prepared by Wilderness Markets, Conservation International and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in support of implementation of the Strategic Action Programme for the Sustainable Management of shared Living Marine Resources in the Caribbean and the North Brazil Shelf Large Marine Ecosystems (CLME+). It describes an investment opportunity in the artisanal finfish fishery and the conservation and social impact it could generate. The environmental, social and economic returns of the investment proposed are summarized in the brochure, and attention is given to strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to the investment opportunity. The brochure summarizes information from an assessment study, a larger business case development document, and a Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) Scoping Document.
