El propósito de este documento es mantener informados a los ministros de Agricultura, a sus Delegados Ministeriales y a otros líderes del agro de las Américas sobre el proceso Cumbres de las Américas, el papel que les corresponde a las reuniones ministeriales en ese contexto y las oportunidades que ofrecen ambos procesos. Además, se pretende motivar una participación más amplia de la Comunidad de la Agricultura y la Vida Rural en dicho proceso, a fin de que esas oportunidades sean aprovechadas y se consolide el apoyo político recibido en la Tercera Cumbre de las Américas
The purpose of this document is to keep the Ministers of Agriculture, their Ministerial Delegates, and other agricultural leaders in the Americas informed about the Summits of the Americas process, the role of ministerial meetings in this context, and the opportunities that they offer both processes. In addition, it is intended to motivate a broader participation of the Community of Agriculture and Rural Life in said process, so that these opportunities are taken advantage of and the political support received at the Third Summit of the Americas is consolidated.
