Descripción
This publication provides reference and general guidance for biosafety managers in Asia and the Pacific. It is envisaged to be a source of information for many biosafety novices and experts and be a part of required references for biosafety in laboratories. It covers basic introduction to biosafety and biosafety levels. It also covers policy, administration and practical guidance in biosafety implementation and management.
The publication contributes to Strategic Objective 5 or increasing each country’s resilience of livelihoods to threats and crises. Information in the publication may contribute to improving capacity of national laboratories to work with pathogens in a biosafe way.
