We elaborate the application method, process and effect of weighted average method in the examination and evaluation system for modern distance education of rural party members and cadres. The study shows that this method reflects the evaluation results objectively and comprehensively and plays a remarkable role in establishing and improving the examination and evaluation system, thus will have an important reference value for the development of modern distance education of rural party members and cadres in the future.
