| dc.description | El trabajo de investigación se realizó en finca Elia María de propiedad de Reforestación Industrial Los Nacientes, en el cantón de Los Chiles zona norte de Costa Rica. Para las acciones de monitoreo estamos proponiendo la utilización del protocolo elaborado por el Programa Ambiental Regional para Centroamérica (PROARCA) en unión con la Universidad Estatal de Oregon (OSU) y el Centro Agronómico Tropical de Investigación y Enseñanza (CATIE). En esta investigación se plantea el monitoreo sólo con los indicadores de densidad y área basal por ser de fácil medición y se tiene la información base del inventario, que permitió determinar los umbrales de cambio This research was conducted in the Maria Elia estate owned by The Rising Industrial Reforestation, in the canton of Los Chiles, northern Costa Rica. For monitoring actions we are proposing the use of the protocol developed by The Regional Environmental Program for Central América in conjunction with the Oregon State University (OSU) and the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE). In this research only the monitoring of density and basal area as indicators are being recommended XI because they are easily measured and have the basis of inventory information that allowed us to determine their threshold of change. | |
