| dc.description | This report presents the information on the background to the study, the approach and methodology applied. It also presents and discusses the results from the analysis of GHG emissions. An accompanying document “A life cycle inventory for wheat, maize, barley, soybean and cassava” provides more detailed information on the life cycle inventory (LCI). Section 2 and 3 of this report presents a brief overview of the global feed sector and crop production practices, respectively. Section 4 provides a n overview of the approach and methodology applied in the assessment of GHG emissions for the five crops. This information is supplemented by an accompanying document that presents background information on the life cycle inventories of the crops. Section 5 and 6 presents an initial discussion on uncertainty and key challenges and future work that will be undertaken. | |
