| dc.description | Bumper harvest has lead to significant drop in rice prices; on the other hand wheat prices have increased, mainly due to policy interventions on wheat imports; The government is continuing the resettlement process, but the country is undergoing some political tensions; Overall food security has improved thanks to a record paddy harvest which has lowered rice prices; The government is supporting domestic production with inputs and taxation of wheat imports. | |
