In 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic led to development and implementation of a 12-week e-coaching on social protection as a response to replace the Social Security Academy. In March-May 2021 ITC-ILO offers this e-Coaching programme for a third time. The E-coaching allows participants benefit from online resources on good practices and case studies, participate in interactive sessions led by highly qualified experts and access high-quality one to one e-coaching from world experts in social protection without the need to travel. It allows them to join and interact online with a global network of professionals to share learning, best practices as well as participate in peer coaching and support.
Within this e-training initiative, FAO (as well as other partners, including UN sister agencies) is contributing by providing reading materials as well as videos on interesting case studies, and by participating in webinars and the one to one coaching component, thereby bringing in our special expertise on the exposures and challenges faced by the agricultural subsectors with regards to the pandemic. In addition, ITC-ILO will provide the participants with the e-campus platform for access to the materials and events, a coach matched to the participant’s needs and guidance for the coaching sessions, and administrative support to enable successful completion of the training programme.
