If you want to keep your food safe in a drought, you are in the right place! This complete, mobile-friendly infographic guidance works together as a set— each covers a key measure to keep food safe during a natural disaster, for easy access wherever you are. The measures are grounded in risk-based food safety principles and codes of practice elaborated by Codex Alimentarius, in particular the General Principles of Food Hygiene, and the aligned risk management approaches developed by FAO and WHO. The guidance is designed to reduce the likelihood of unsafe food causing further harm in a strained emergency setting.
