Descripción
A field study was developed to determine the right time to establish permanent flooding without affecting rice yields at "Los Palacios" Rice Research Station for three years. Results showed that the different treatments did not significantly affect agricultural yield nor its components; besides, irrigation days were shortened. Regarding cycle, there was a direct relationship between heading and the establishment of permanent flooding, since the earlier the flooding, the sooner the heading.
