dc.descriptionThis research is a feasibility study of a multiproduct Biorefinery from using cotton gin waste in West Texas. This region is traditionally known by its important production of upland cotton and where there is an important concentration of gin mills. An important and cheap quantity of cotton gin waste results from the ginning process could be transformed from a liability with respect to environment to a valuable feedstock to produce a portfolio of bio-products in small and distributed biorefineries. This research shows that such small projects are promising with weather and market risks taken into account.
