The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), a vast and resource-rich nation in Central Africa, faces overlapping crises of poverty, food insecurity, conflict, and weak infrastructure that hinder development and stability. In this context, communication is a vital tool for strengthening food security and recovery, and this factsheet examines the DRC’s media landscape to inform inclusive, evidence-based strategies that effectively reach and engage vulnerable communities.
