Descripción
The Ireme Invest Climate-Smart Agriculture Adaptation Accelerator Program is designed to strengthen a pipeline of investment-ready agribusinesses delivering climate adaptation solutions in Rwanda. Implemented by Entrepreneurial Solutions Partners (ESP), and supported by the Gates Foundation, the CGIAR Hub for Sustainable Finance (ImpactSF), and the Rwanda Green Fund, the program provides targeted business development support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating across agricultural value chains.
31 of 360 ventures were selected for incubation and received tailored masterclasses, technical assistance, and one-on-one coaching to refine their business models, strengthen climate adaptation strategies, and improve investment readiness. Nine high-potential businesses were awarded grants of up to RWF 100 million to de-risk early-stage investments and unlock additional private capital.
This deal book showcases a curated portfolio of these ventures, presenting key information for investors. Each profile outlines the company’s market position, business model, revenue streams, and competitive advantage, alongside its contributions to climate resilience, sustainability, and community impact. The deal book also highlights growth potential, funding needs, and capital deployment strategies, offering investors a clear view of opportunities to support scalable, climate-smart agriculture solutions in Rwanda.
