The use of prebasic seed is one of the most important aspect to obtain healthy seed; therefore, the main systems used were in vitro multiplication culture or micropropagation and accelerated multiplication techniques, including cuttings as alternatives to reduce the investment costs when producing seed-tubers. Accelerated techniques are a commonly used alternative in prebasic seed potato programme; apparently, they can increase investment, but it is possible to obtain more tuber yields due to successive multiplications. This research work was aimed at proposing an alternative method linked to the actual system, enbling to reduce production costs. This paper analyzes in vitro plant density, multiplication rate and plant yields in mother plants and in their offsprings. After all, it is concluded that it is possible to plant up to three vitroplants per tube and five stem cuttings in mother plants, increasing tuber number.
