This practice describes how cotton bollworms can be managed without applying pesticides. To eliminate bollworms, farmers used to spray chemicals which had an impact on the surroundings. To avoid the side effect of chemical usage, research introduced the use of black ants, a safer alternative for the control of cotton bollworms. This technology is largely used in Eastern, Western, Central, and Northern Uganda.
