dc.descriptionThis factsheet presents Kagera TAMP project progress to analyze, document and evaluate Sustainable Land Management (SLM) technologies and related approaches in the transboundary Kagera river basin. The aim is to generate knowledge on SLM management and at the same time help the project team to promote wide adoption of SLM technologies and approaches that can generate local, national and global benefits including: restoration of degraded lands, agro-biodiversity conservation and sustainable use a nd improved agricultural production, leading to increased food security and improved rural livelihoods and protection of the international waters of the Kagera river.
