Resumen

SPS Agreements, among other factors, were instrumental in expanding poultry trade while addressing improved global food safety measures. Results show decreased shell egg export shares since 1995. This is indicative of contentious nature of shell eggs as disease-carriers on their shells. Export shares of processed egg products were unchanged during the 1987-2002 period.
