The Pre-Investment Survey of Fishing Harbours is being conducted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in cooperation with the Government of India. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, on this Project, is acting as the Executing and Participating Agency for the United Nations Development Programme.</p>The site investigated is located (Lat. 16°24 1 , Long. 81°12 1) on the bank of the Vasishta Godavari River about 4. 5 lmi. from the town of Narasapu r and about 9,5 km. from the sea.
