From 27 to 28 January 2009, FAO organized a follow-up to the first international meeting “Trees connecting people: in action together” held in Bogotá (August 2008). The event convened more than 30 people working on the urban and peri-urban forestry (UPF) related fields. The two objectives were to promote and develop existing and new cooperative initiatives and partnerships, and to reach an agreement on the ways and means to prepare UPF Guidelines.
