Descripción
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN) has joined forces with the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID), to establish the Pro-Poor Livestock Policy Initiative (PPLPI). The PPLPI aims to contribute to poverty reduction by strengthening the capacity within FAO’s member nations, FAO and other international organizations, to formulate and promote livestock-sector policies and institutional changes that favour the poor.
