Se realizaron 60 encuestas a productores de bovinos con el objetivo principal de identificar y ubicar la presencia de especies leñosas promisorias como forrajeras, sobre el manejo y la Producción animal. Las especies que mostraron mayores usos en, leña, madera, y utensilios fueron: Bursera simaruba, Gliricidia sepium, Cedrela odorata, Psidium guajava y Spondias mombin. Como sombra en potreros se encontraron Mangifera indica, Guazuma ulmifolia, Ficus cotinifolia y Delonix regia. 60 surveys were applied to livestock producers, with the objective to identify and locate the presence of woody species as promising fodder, related to the management and animal production. Standing out Bursera simaruba, Gliricidia sepium, Cedrela oforata, Pisium guajava and Spondias mombin as species for firewood and timber, mainly. As shadow trees, Mangifera indica, Guazuma ulmifolia, Ficus cotinifolia and Delonix regia were the most important.
