Cereal prices are high and have started rising, hence food access remains difficult; Insecurity persists in the country while heavy rains have affected crops and infrastructures; According to IFPRI the current stae of moderate food insecurity may deteriorate into severe hunger; Food assistance interventions were provided by the Government to food insecure people.
