dc.descriptionThis study uses an empirical analysis and a budget analysis to study seasonality in calf prices and cow-calf operator incomes. Calf prices were found to be highest in the summer and lowest in the fall while profits for cow-calf operators were found to be highest for spring calving cow herds.
