Lebanon’s multidimensional crisis, driven by economic instability, conflict, recurrent displacement and climate-related shocks, continues to undermine agricultural livelihoods and food security. Damage to productive assets, disrupted value chains and reduced access to inputs have constrained food production and increased vulnerability among rural households. The Emergency and Resilience Plan (ERP) 2026–2028 sets out the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)’s integrated response to restore production, safeguard livelihoods and strengthen resilience. Combining time-critical agricultural assistance with recovery and resilience interventions, the ERP supports asset rehabilitation, climate-resilient practices and strengthened institutions, underpinned by improved evidence and coordination. With a funding requirement of USD 65.8 million, the ERP aims to support 48 855 households (244 275 people) through coordinated, risk-informed interventions.
