Resumen
Descripción
In July and August 2025, the Advanced Course on Climate Information Services (CIS)—co-developed by the African Group of Negotiators Expert Support (AGNES) and AICCRA— closed CIS familiarity and technical capacity gaps among African professionals for delivering evidence-based decision-making across environment, conservation, agriculture, water, energy, infrastructure, and urban planning sectors. The five-week online course enrolled 286 participants, of whom 119 men and 36 women met course certification requirements. Monitoring data show significant post-course self-reported increases in CIS skills and confidence, early professional application, and informal and formal organizational shifts.
