Tebuthiuron for control of sand shinnery oak on rangeland in the Texas Rolling Plains was evaluated. Grass yield was estimated to be a function of the treatment rate of tebuthiuron. The treatment rate of 0.478 kg/ha was found to be the optimum given representative livestock prices and costs of application used.
