dc.descriptionThe National Agenda for Neglected and Underutilized Species (NUS) is based on a national consultation process facilitated by the NUS Network of Ghana and the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana. The National Agenda has six interrelated action areas and 34 actions. NUS have multiple benefits: contributing to agro-ecosystem services including the conservation of agrobiodiversity and associated (traditional) knowledge and culture; agronomic and environmental benefits; food, health and nutrition; community development; employment and income generation.
