This is a fifth edition of FAO in Ethiopia quarterly e-newsletter, that highlights the key developments that have occurred in and around the Organization between October and December 2024. In this issue, you will read about the results of our joint efforts with the Government of Ethiopia and other partners in areas of agriculture, food security, and nutrition without forgetting about natural resource management. During this time, we have held high-level events and activities around our different interventions, including the World Without Hunger Conference, field missions with resource partners and sister UN Agencies, World Food Day and World Rabies Day celebrations. During this time FAO in Ethiopia was also honoured by being awarded by the Ethiopian Veterinary Institution (EVA) in recognition of its contribution to the development of the country’s livestock sector. FAO in Ethiopia appreciates the support that it has received from its partners and friends for the milestone! This newsletter too presents the voices from the field in the form of testimonies from small-holder farmers who have been better reached by the Organization's programmes. It is so encouraging to see how the joint efforts are bearing fruits by transforming the lives of many small-holder farmers across the country with a lasting impact.
