The objective of this Rural Transformation Series info note is to explore the employment potential of Ethiopia’s dairy sub-sector. It highlights the main employment generating phases and current conditions of women’s equitable employment according to the six dimensions of decent rural employment. The info note includes solutions for the development of gender-equality within the dairy sub-sector that generates decent employment for rural women and men equally.
