FAO's Remote Sensing Survey provides novel information on land use change dynamics and deforestation drivers.
The survey was conducted as part of the Global Forest Resources Assessment 2020 and in close cooperation with countries.
This participatory sample-based exercise produced independent and consistent remote-sensing based estimates on land use change dynamics and their key drivers at global, regional and biome levels.
