The 11th FAO/WHO Joint Meeting on Pesticide Management (JMPM) was held at the FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy from 9 to 12 October 2018.
An update on activities of the joint Secretariat and participating organizations; a review of progress in the production of new JMPM guidelines; plans for continued work on and review of existing guidelines; plans for the next revision of the Code of Conduct; suggestions on emerging and priority issues and future directions; plans for a global support programme for pesticide compliance and enforcement; inputs to a planned report to be written by UN Environment on the environmental and health impacts of pesticides and fertilizers; and recommendations for future work.
