An intertiol consultant reviewed aquatic product certification schemes used in the region and made recommendations for an improver’s scheme called the Good Fish Code which would provide incremental incentives (provided by corporate socially responsible companies) for steps taken to promote improved co-magement of inshore fisheries. The GFC includes social, biological, governce and environmental evaluation criteria.
