This brochure presents the programme of the “International Symposium on the use of nonconventional waters to achieve food security” which will be organized by FAO in collaboration with MAPA (Ministero de Agricoltura, Pesca y Alimentación) on 14 and 15 November 2019 in Casa de América, Madrid, Spain. This symposium aims at strengthening a global community of practice to unlock the potential of nonconventional water resources to achieve food security in water scarce regions.
