The FAO in Mozambique: Annual report 2025 highlights the Organization’s contribution to transforming agrifood systems, strengthening climate resilience and improving livelihoods across the country. Working closely with the Government of Mozambique and development partners, FAO supported more than 43 000 farmers with access to agricultural inputs, strengthened the capacities of over 22 000 producers through training and extension services, promoted sustainable management of natural resources, and enhanced preparedness for climate-related shocks. Through a combination of policy support, digital innovation, emergency assistance and long-term development interventions, FAO continued to advance more efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable agrifood systems, contributing to improved food security, nutrition and economic opportunities for vulnerable communities nationwide.
