This issue contains stories on the following: (1) FAO Philippines' efforts to promote its work and mandates amidst the COVID-19 pandemic including establishing new partnerships, supporting government initiatives to strengthen food security and participating in online learning and knowledge-sharing events; (2) a new regional initiative to protect farming families and their livestock from volcanic eruptions; (3) World Food Day 2020 and the launch of dual national Zero Hunger initiatives; (4) continuing to work to control fall armyworm; (5) capacity-building initiatives to empower farmers and fisherfolk in BARMM amidst the pandemic; (6) post-APRC dialogue with DA; (7) human interest features showcasing the resilience and successes of FAO project beneficiaries; and (8) new knowledge resources covering the COVID-19 pandemic and recent typhoons that hit the country.
